How Do I Join?


Joining checklist

  1. Are you over the age of 16?
  2. Are you a UK resident with a valid UK postcode?
  3. Are you able to access our online registration form via a PC, mobile, tablet or other internet connected device?
  4. Will this be your only LaunchPanel account?
  5. Did you answer ‘yes’ to the 4 questions above? If so, keep reading!

Please note – Only one account per individual is allowed. Any detection of multiple accounts belonging to one person will result in the user being removed and all accumulated rewards will be void.

Joining instructions:

  1. Visit us at
  2. Fill in our short registration form
    • Double check your email address – this will also be the username you use to login
    • Choose a memorable password – this must be 8-50 characters in length and contain at least 1 special character (!@#$%^&*?_-£)
    • Enter your year of birth – make sure this is correct to ensure you receive research invitations relevant to you. This cannot be amended later
    • Enter the first half of your postcode e.g. for NE23 7BF enter only “NE23”
    • Ensure you read our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions
    • Click Register
    • You may encounter security measures to check you’re not a robot. Complete this to submit your registration.
  3. Verify your email address
    • Check your email inbox / junk / spam folders for your welcome email from
    • In your welcome email click “Activate Account”
    • Your browser will load a account activation confirmation message
    • If your welcome email landed in your junk / spam folder, please don’t forget to mark us as a safe sender to avoid missing any research opportunities
  4. Check you can login
    • Login at
    • You should see a green banner verifying your account activation
    • Fill in your profile information to ensure we send you research invitations that are relevant to you


  1. The form will not submit
    • Double check all the fields are filled out as per the guide above at point 2. The most common errors occur when entering your password and postcode
  2. I haven’t received my verification email
    • Check your junk / spam mail folders
    • Navigate back to your registration window and double check you entered the correct email address. If this is incorrect you will need to re-register
    • If the email address is correct login to your account and click “resend activation email” on the green banner
